In particular, it has completed and reached the finish line 1 year ahead of schedule for 2 major goals identified in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
Two major goals were completed early, namely Moc Chau national tourist area was officially recognized according to the provisions of the Law on Tourism (this is the 8th tourist area nationwide to be recognized). Second, the Son La hydroelectric reservoir area was officially included in the national tourism system planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045 in Decision 509/QD-TTg dated June 13, 2024 of the Prime Minister.
Through cultural activities during holidays and Tet, Son La province has integrated the display of cultural spaces of ethnic minorities, creating a highlight for tourism.
