(baosonla.vn) - A civilized and professional working environment; a team of officials and civil servants with responsible, dedicated, and open communication in performing their duties... are the results after 5 years of implementing the "Officials, civil servants, and public employees compete to implement workplace culture" movement, contributing to administrative reform and aiming for the satisfaction of citizens and businesses.

Officials of the People's Committee of Quyet Thang Ward, City, handle administrative procedures for citizens.
Arriving at the Reception and Results Delivery Department of Quyet Thang Ward, Son La City, on the first day of the week, before 7:30 AM, officials and civil servants were already present, ready to welcome citizens for transactions. Strict adherence to regulations, from neat and polite attire to a friendly and open communication attitude; a smoke-free working environment; and a scientifically organized workspace... has become a routine and habit for the ward's officials and civil servants.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Ha, a civil servant in Quyet Thang ward, said: "Every day, the department receives 30-50 administrative procedure applications, both in person and online. With the motto 'Work until the job is done, not until the clock runs out,' we strive to process applications, guide and explain procedures and processes to the people, ensuring they are completed promptly and within the stipulated time."
Meanwhile, Mr. Deo Van Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quyet Thang Ward, shared: "Having been selected by the City as a pilot ward to implement the 'Friendly Government' model, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward have instructed officials and civil servants to raise their awareness and responsibility; creating the best conditions for the people, following the motto of '4 requests' (please say hello, please ask, please apologize, please say thank you) and '4 always' (always smiling, always gentle, always listening, always helping). At the same time, we strengthen the inspection of the implementation of workplace culture, promptly detecting and correcting inappropriate behaviors; maintaining the 'green office' model, planting trees, ornamental plants, and flowers in the office grounds; arranging a separate area for citizens to sit and wait, with plenty of books and newspapers, and free Wi-Fi."

For departments and agencies, the implementation of workplace culture has been emphasized. At the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the content of workplace culture has been thoroughly disseminated to officials and employees; making the implementation of workplace culture one of the criteria for emulation. Subordinate units, such as the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Library, and the Cultural and Film Center, operate outside of regular working hours. Due to the nature of their work, which involves frequent contact with organizations and domestic and international tourists, officials and employees strictly adhere to the issued ethical standards; there have been no negative reports regarding communication or conduct. In addition, all departments and subordinate units implement the "green office" model, planting trees in the office area to create a friendly working environment and space.
Ms. Ngo Thi Hai Yen, Director of the Provincial Museum, said: "Given the unique nature of our unit, which regularly serves visitors who come to explore and research historical sites, we have developed specific regulations and rules to build an image of friendly and hospitable staff and employees. We mandate uniforms for staff and employees; tour guides serving tourists at historical sites must wear traditional ethnic costumes on all working days. In addition, we have implemented a policy of prohibiting alcohol consumption during lunchtime and working hours; we regularly clean the environment; and we cooperate with other units to maintain and regularly repair the historical sites."
